Flatbed

Speedrun the warehouse club.

Split the list, take a stripe of the floor, and race your crew to the checkout on a live timing tower. Loser pushes the flatbed.

Free. Runs in the browser. Nothing to install.

The run screen mid-race: a 'You passed Sam.' banner over the current item, Coffee beans, with the timing tower of Dev, Jules and Sam above and a big Got it button below.

A live timing tower: Jules, Dev, Sam trading the lead.

On the mic

  • Jules stops the clock at 23:41! A solo run against the ghost, folks!
  • Alone in the warehouse, Jules reaches the exit in 23:41. Only the ghost bore witness.
  • 23:41, Jules. Just you and the clock. We'll watch the tape later.
  • You did the whole list in 23:41, all by yourself, Jules! I'm putting it on the fridge!
  • Jules walked out alone after 23:41. Just the clock and a ghost. Case closed.
  • Jules, solo, 23:41. I've seen faster. I've seen slower. Mostly slower.
  • Time trial's done! Jules is home in 23:41. The booth is on its feet!
  • After 23:41, Jules rests at last. A solitary forager, racing only the clock.
  • Jules, home in 23:41. Nobody to blame but the stopwatch. We'll talk.
  • 23:41, Jules! Just you and the clock and you were wonderful, sweetie!
  • 23:41 on the clock. Jules made it out solo. The receipt never lies.
  • 23:41, just Jules and the clock. Survived the warehouse alone. Respect.

Lot to lap in three moves.

  1. Claude loads the list

Hand Claude the list, texts and typos and all. Every line lands in the aisle it lives in, sorted in walking order.

  2. Everyone taps Go

Phones up in the parking lot. The floor splits into stripes, one per shopper, and the clock starts on the last thumb.

  3. Race your stripe

Check lines off as they hit the flatbed. Left, middle, right. First to clear their stripe takes the win.

Everything race day needs.

One run, start to podium.

Real screens from a demo crew. Big type, one thumb, readable at a sprint past the frozen aisle.

  1. The pit wall: Jules in P1, the winner at 2:41.9, with Sam in P2 three items left and Dev in P3 four items left.
The pit wall. Jules takes it in 2:41.9.
  2. Jules's run screen with the list cleared: 'That's the list.', chips to poach an item from Dev or Sam, and a Finish button.
List cleared. Still hungry? Poach one.
  3. The radio sheet: the race feed with Dev clearing Paper, a Sportscaster heckle and Sam passing you, plus quick shouts and a Razz button.
Race radio. Heckles, shouts, one razz.
  4. The finish card in Jules's volt: 'Jules P1. Cleared.' with a line from the Sportscaster and the final time.
    Jules P1. Cleared. Screenshot it.
  5. The Okafor crew's family screen: invite a phone by link, pick who it's for from Jules, Dev and Sam, and see the signed-in phones.
One crew, every phone. Invite by link.

Claude does the boring lap.

Flatbed plugs into Claude as a connector. Sign in once with your family login, hand Claude the list, and it builds the run: every line kept as written, sorted by department, ready for Go.

No Claude? Paste the list in yourself. The race doesn't care.

Here's this week's list. TP, the good ketchup, 2 rotisserie chickens, that cheese Sam likes.

ClaudeRun's loaded. 14 lines across 6 departments. Jules has Left, Dev has Middle, Sam has Right.

An example: Claude loading a run from a family's list.

One price. It's zero.

No paid tier waiting in aisle nine. The membership fee is the one you already paid at the door.

Pit lane questions.

Is it really free?

Yes. One tier, and it's Free. No trial clock, no card on file.

Do we need to install an app?

No. Flatbed is a web page. Open it on each phone, or add it to the home screen so it sits next to the shopping list.

Which store does it work in?

Any warehouse club with a front-to-back floor. The run follows the route through the store, so the big-box layout is the course.

How many people can race?

One to three shoppers a run. Three takes left, middle and right; two split it down the middle; one gets the whole floor and a lot of heckling.

Do we need Claude?

No. Claude makes loading the list effortless, but you can paste it in yourself and race the same.

Is the heckler mean?

As mean as you let it be. Pick the voice and the intensity before the run, from mild to savage.

The lot is open. Make a crew, send the invite link, and your next run is a race.
